Here at KN LAW Professional Corporation, we offer many legal services in relation to the Real Estate field.
1. Buying Real Estate
When buying real estate, many legal formalities are involved to ensure the new owner’s legal rights over their real estate transactions. These formalities include title transfers, Agreement of Sales or Purchase, mortgage refinance, and more.
2. Selling Real Estate
Selling property also requires many legal formalities to be completed to ensure a proper real estate transaction. Here at KN LAW, we’ll take care of the legal formalities, ensuring a smooth closing process while giving you peace of mind.
3. Transfer of Title
One of the most crucial parts of the real estate transaction is the Transfer of Title, in which the property ownership is transferred from the old owner(s) to the new owner(s).
4. Mortgage Refinance
A mortgage refinance is where the buyer’s old mortgage is superseded by a new mortgage agreement, with this new mortgage agreement paying off the remaining balance of the previous mortgage.
5. Private Mortgage
Instead of an institutional lender, a private mortgage is where the borrower receives money from an individual as a private lender. According to the Financial and Consumer Services Commission, New Brunswick, private lenders can be anyone from family to co-workers to strangers.
6. Reverse Mortgage Registrations
The reverse mortgage is usually for individuals older than 55, where they can take money from their home equity through a lender, without selling the house. This loan doesn’t require regular payments, although has a high interest rate compared to mortgages.
7. Survivorship Applications
When a property is co-owned by two or more joint-tenders, and one of those joint-tenders passes away, the other tenders submit a Survivorship Application to remove the name of the passed-away owner.
8. Independent Legal Representation
Throughout the closing process, KN LAW will represent the client and complete many legal formalities in place, ensuring a smooth process and inner peace for our clients.
